South Carolina Telco Changes to APC’s new MAXIMUSTM HD Lightweight Vault
One of RCI’s key customers in South Carolina has been using polymer concrete handholes for years. After trialing multiple sizes of the new APC Maximus HD lightweight vault, they switched suppliers! The customer tells us that the following key features influenced their important decision:
- Flared wall – Delivers value and savings by providing superior interior volume compared to the straight wall options of polymer concrete
- Vertical ribs for support – Reduces labor costs through a better and easier backfill process
- Nestable – Saves shipping costs as the flared walls permit nesting of multiple vaults so more units fit on a single truck
- Exterior footer – Allows for a more solid foundation when backfilling, minimizing the risk of shifting or frost heave.
